Our “Back to School: Education Edition” was well received, so we will continue testing out our affordable haircare services for Georgia educators. With the feedback we received from our last trial program, we made the below changes:

• We are extending our services to Georgia college students as they go back to college. Based on the demand from this month, we will decide if we will extend our affordable haircare services to them permanently.
• We are now offering Boho Knotless Braids as an affordable service. This service will not be added to the free services for K-12 students due to the extra cost of the hair. We are offering this style for only $200 including the boho hair. The usual cost of this service at a braid salon is at least $300 with the hair included, but the braid service more than likely would not include a cleanse and condition service.

If you are a Georgia K-12 educator or a Georgia college student and you would like an affordable hair appointment, request it now while slots last. We are serving clients at our partner salon, Lux Studio Salon Suites, in Atlanta, GA. 

The application requirements are below:

• Proof that you are a Georgia K-12 educator in one of the below roles or a college student currently enrolled in a Georgia college or university. Proof for educators is a school work badge, and proof for college students is an unofficial college transcript for the current semester at a Georgia college or university.
  • Principal
  • Assistant Principal
  • Teacher
  • Paraprofessional
  • Media Specialist
  • School Counselor
  • School Social Worker
• A recent photo of yourself with your natural hair to confirm your hair is at least 4 inches long all over for us to grip.
• Agreement to our Client Participation Waiver and policies.
• Service fee for your selected braid style:
  • $100 for Knotless Braids
  • $200 for Boho Knotless Braids
