Our free services may not be requested by students, parents, or guardians. Parents and others may schedule their student’s affordable haircare appointments directly on our website.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicant must be an Authorized Referrer who is requesting school-initiated intervention on the student’s behalf. An authorized referrer must be one of the following:
  • Georgia Principal
  • Georgia Assistant Principal
  • Georgia Teacher
  • Georgia Paraprofessional
  • Georgia School Counselor
  • Georgia School Social Worker
  • Georgia School Partner
• Student must be enrolled in a Georgia public school in grades Kindergarten – 12th grade.
• Student must have a demonstrated need for free haircare services due to one of the following reasons:
  • Hair Neglect
  • Appearance-Based Bullying
  • Financial Hardship

Application Period: August 15th through April 15th for the open academic year.

Selection Process:

We will select a maximum of 50 students to receive our free haircare for the 2026-27 academic year. Once we have reached that threshold, we will add additional students to our program waitlist. Students are selected in the order in which their application has been received and approved. 

Approval:

Once students are added to our program, the student’s name will be added to our booking application, and their parents/guardian can schedule an appointment that best works for them. Due to the high demand of our appointments with a limited availability, we do not allow appointments to be rescheduled under any circumstances. If a parent/guardian cannot attend their requested appointment within a 15-minute grace period, their appointment will be cancelled, and their student will be removed from our program. Once students are removed, other students on the waitlist are added.
