Mallorye Crowell

President & Founder of The Higher Foundation

Mallorye Crowell serves as the President & Founder of The Higher Foundation. She graduated from The Georgia Institute of Technology in May 2016 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. Soon after she graduated from Georgia Tech, she founded The Higher Foundation to help Georgia college students overcome basic needs insecurity, a plight she once faced as a college student.

During Mallorye Crowell’s six-year journey as First-Generation college student, she overcame financial strain, resource scarcity, housing instability, food insecurity, and lack all by the grace of God. When she finally made it to her last semester at Georgia Tech, she established a conditional covenant with God that if He allowed her to graduate, she would start a charitable organization to help other college students graduate. In May 2016, God fulfilled His promise to her as she walked across the graduation stage, so in February 2017, she kept her promise too and founded The Higher Foundation. On May 18th, 2018, The Higher Foundation was shared publicly, and since then, The Higher Foundation has helped over 1,000 Georgia college students and awarded nearly $40,000 in grants and scholarships. Mallorye is thankful to God that He chose her for such a worthy assignment to make college easier for all Georgians, and she is ready and determined to keep taking The Higher Foundation higher with the direction of God.

Mallorye is most passionate about higher education, youth development, & community building. When she is not serving in her community, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, reading, and visiting a local coffee shop. In all that Mallorye Crowell does, she hopes that her intimate walk with God will encourage others to follow Him and complete their God-given assignment. She believes that all were created for a purpose, and no matter how hard it is, with tenacity and unwavering faith, all things are possible to those that believe.
